Love coming here for breakfast, great good and interesting people.

The waits are a little long, and the dining area is small, but those are both positives at Chubbles. You don't come for a quick bite; you come to hang out, drink coffee, and talk to you people you're eating with. Then when your food arrives you're blown away.

Chubbles opened recently in the former Ralph & Jo's space in Franklin. The place is named after the owner (C. Hubble). They serve breakfast and lunch 6 days a week, closed Wednesdays. The place is very cozy with 5 tables for eating in. The food offerings are shown on the boards on the walls. They serve up egg plates, omelets, bennies, breakfast sandwiches, pancakes, French toast, sausage gravy & biscuits, homemade hash. Lunch offerings are homemade soup, chili, sandwiches (w chips & pickle), steak bomb subs, and baked goods too. Gluten free and vegan options also offered   The prices here seem reasonable, entrees $9.99 and under.

I stopped here for a late breakfast and I arrived here as most of the customers already here were just about to leave. I could sit anywhere, but the tables were yet to be cleaned. I took a seat and my table was wiped down and set up 3 minutes later. There were no printed menus other than the small omelet menu.

I ordered the Corned Beef Hash & Cheese Omelet ($8.99) with home fries and toast. The food was served in about 10 minutes after ordering. The portion was just right. The omelet was thick and firm, folded and filled with diced potato, lean corned beef pieces (dry) and feta cheese crumbles. The home fries were crisp and lightly brown. The raisin toast was buttered.

Overall, the food here was good. The service here was good, but a bit gruff, not super friendly, perhaps I got here after a very busy breakfast service. Anyways, Chubbles offers another option for breakfast and lunch in the Franklin/Tilton area except on Wednesday of course.

We were staying on Webster Lake for a few days and decided to go downtown to find somewhere to get breakfast. We found Chubbles on google, and decided to give it a shot. The breakfast options were great and the staff was very friendly. My boyfriend and I both got the Sandra Dee omelet and added bacon, and even though there was a little bit of a wait for food, it was well worth it. I would definitely recommend Chubbles for breakfast, and will be going back in the future.

This place is a hidden gem! We stopped in for breakfast and the atmosphere makes you feel like your at your Grandmother's and or Aunt's House. The waitress and chef were impressive! The locals were filing in for their morning favorites and coffee. They were greeted and welcomed with a small town American feel. Our group ordered the homemade oatmeal, Eggs Benedict, and a blueberry pancake. First off the food is delicious and you will want to lick your plate clean. Second, the portions are huge! Third, don't be offended when you ask for two pancakes and are told "NO".  Check out the photos and you will see why. So make sure to stop in a Chubbles if your in the area or passing through. It's a wonderful place!
